02 What We Use
This is the complete list of cookies and browser storage used on ezlascan.com:
| Name | Where | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ezlascan_cookie_choice | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie notice, so it is not shown again. | Until you clear your browser data |
| ezlascan_device_id | Cookie and local storage | A random identifier generated in your browser. It lets our own analytics recognise repeat visits and keep page visits of one session together. It contains no personal details. | Up to 1 year |
| ezlascan_visited | Local storage | A flag that records that you have visited before, so a second tab is not counted as a first visit. | Until you clear your browser data |
| ezlascan_bc | Session storage | A timestamp that limits how often the browser asks our server whether access from this device is restricted. | Until you close the tab |
These are first-party items set by EzlaScan only. The site does not use advertising or marketing cookies, social media pixels, or third-party analytics services.
03 First-Party Analytics
We measure how our website is used with our own systems. For each visit we record the pages viewed, time on page, referring page, browser and device type, screen size, language and the approximate location derived from the IP address. This information is stored on our own infrastructure and is used to understand usage and to keep the site secure.
Details of the personal data involved, our legal bases and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
04 Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the identifiers above does not stop the website from working.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
To exercise your data protection rights, contact privacy@ezlascan.com.
05 Do Not Track
Because we only use first-party analytics and do not track you across other websites, we treat all visitors the same way regardless of Do Not Track settings.
06 Policy Updates
We may update this policy when the cookies and storage we use change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
