Its Prime Video catalogue of originals, live sport and licensed films is pirated on a large scale, and the Amazon name and storefront are among the most copied brands online. EzlaScan monitors piracy of Prime Video content across streaming sites, IPTV resellers and social platforms, and watches for fake Amazon storefronts, counterfeit listings and phishing pages that borrow the brand.

Threat landscape

Prime Video premieres and live events are re-streamed within minutes of release by pirate sites and IPTV resellers, while scammers clone Amazon login and order pages, run fake Amazon customer-support accounts, and sell counterfeit goods from look-alike storefronts. Each release or sale event produces a fresh wave of mirrors and phishing domains that move to new hosts as soon as one is removed.

Prime Video Premiere Re-Streamed Across Pirate Sites

Within an hour of a major Prime Video original premiering, EzlaScan detected the episode on 41 pirate streaming sites and an IPTV reseller's catalogue. Evidence was captured with watermark matching, takedown notices went to the hosting providers and CDN operators in parallel, and search listings for the mirrors were delisted. Every identified copy was removed in 3 hours and re-detections were closed on the same day.

Fake Amazon Order-Confirmation Phishing Campaign

A phishing campaign sent fake order confirmations that linked to cloned Amazon sign-in pages on newly registered domains. EzlaScan detected the lookalike domains through brand monitoring, filed abuse reports with the registrars and hosts, and submitted the pages to Google Safe Browsing. 23 domains were suspended within 6 hours and the campaign's remaining pages were blocked in browsers the same day.

Look-Alike Amazon Storefronts Selling Counterfeit Goods

A network of storefronts imitating Amazon's layout and logo advertised discounted electronics on Facebook and Instagram. EzlaScan mapped the shared payment and hosting infrastructure, reported the ads and pages to Meta, and filed trademark complaints with the hosts and payment processors. The ads and storefronts were taken down within 36 hours.
